Whether this is
your first child to consider a high school band program or your last, I
would like to welcome you in joining one of the closest, most dynamic parent
groups ever – Kennesaw Mountain Bands Organization. Not
only is your band or guard student welcome, but your entire family is
welcome!
You are joining
a top notch, nationally ranked, band program. What makes our program so
accomplished and unique? Vision, leadership, ownership (did I say our
program?) and tremendous support by many: from the support of our school
principal and administrators, band directors and student leadership, to our
parents and community leaders. Check out the special recognition plaques in
the band director’s office from the mayor of Kennesaw and the Cobb County
commissioners!
Our band will
fill your life and your student’s life with joy, awesome entertainment and a
sense of community pride. Please take a moment to digest the parent and
student testimonials that are posted on our web site. I hope you find that
the KMBO family is as warm and open as your own. I am personally extending
an offer to you now, and will continue to do so throughout the year, to jump
in with both feet and become part of the KMBO family. Please feel at ease to
